Nigerians Reacted To The Torturing Of IPOB Members In Aba By Army Officers.

Nigerians have reacted to the video footage of soldiers deployed to the South East under the “Operation Python Dance,” who were caught on camera torturing members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

In a Facebook post, some Nigerians faulted the action while others commended the actions of the soldiers.

Photos Of A Girl Caught With Human Head.

A young girl from Mgbirichi, Imo state,  identified as Iheoma Chidinma has been caught with a human head.

According to information we got from the video of her been interrogated by the military men, she revealed she was taking the head inside a bush to bury it.

She also claimed her friend was the one who cut off the head, and said she has killed two people so far.

Labour Congress Has Threatened Indefinite Strike From Tomorrow.

The United Labour Congress has threatened that workers in Nigeria would embark on an indefinite strike if the Federal Government failed to meet its demands by Friday (tomorrow).

The threat came barely two weeks after the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment responded to the workers through a letter, which the ULC said “largely failed to adequately address the critical issues raised in our demands.”

The union issued the strike threat after an emergency meeting of its National Administrative Committee, which was held jointly with the National Strike Committee in Lagos.

In a statement signed by the ULC President, Joe Ajaero, the union urged Nigerians to take precaution and stock up necessities, saying, “The strike will be very effective as we hope to cripple all modes of transportation within the nation; ensure a total blackout nationwide; cut off petroleum product supplies; and disrupt banking operations, which will make life a bit more difficult for Nigerians.

Ikenna Strips And Goes Mad As His Juju Fails In Malaysia.

Forcing to get rich quick without any real job...the end no dey good.

A Nigeria man identified as Ikenna has gone mad in Malaysia. According to to his friend who sent in the clips, they were all sitting at a Hotel bar in Punchong Province, Malaysia when he suddenly stood up, stripped completely and jumped into the swimming pool.

Security operatives at the Hotel rushed out and tied him up.

    In the video he could be seen struggling with them and shouting. He was saying; "I am a murderer, tie me, tie me, I kill people, am a black man, kill me oh, kill me oh.. He also mentioned a man named ''Jerfrey''.

Too bad,Ikenna has only been in Malaysia for about three months before he went mad, yesterday.

John Tehinse, A Dietician Warns That Cooking Moi-Moi In Nylons Is Unsafe.

A dietician, Mr John Tehinse, has warned people against cooking moi-moi and other foods in nylons or cellophane bags as it produced dioxins, a toxic substance that causes cancer.

Tehinse gave the warning on Tuesday in Ilorin at an awareness campaign on food safety organised by the Food Safety Awareness Campaign Initiatives, funded by the European Union.

Moin-moin is a Nigerian steamed bean pudding made from a mixture of washed and peeled black-eyed peas, onions and fresh ground peppers.

It is a protein-rich, staple food in Nigeria and has its origin in West Africa.

In his lecture entitled: “Food Safety Control System in Nigeria”, he explained that cooking Moin-moin, a local delicacy of bean pudding, in nylon had become widespread while people were unaware of the dangers.

The food safety expert said nylons or cellophane bags produced dioxins when heated, adding “they are a group of chemically-related compounds that are persistent environmental pollutants (POPs)’’.

Resident Doctors Has Suspended Strike Actions.

The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has suspended the strike action it embarked upon a week ago, after hours of a secret meeting with the Minister of Health.

The group’s president elect, Mr. Chinaka Ugochukwu, announced the suspension via a text message to Channels Television health correspondent in Abuja. He also gave assurances that details about the decisions will be made public by the association, at a press briefing on Thursday, September 14, 2017.

NARD had on Monday, September 4, declared an indefinite strike action to protest poor welfare of members and demand for improved conditions of service.

 The doctors, however, assured the federal government after a marathon meeting on Wednesday, September 6, that they would only suspend the strike after members get credit alert from their banks, indicating payments of parts of the salary arrears that the government is owing to them.

Governor Ikpeazu, Has Appealed To The Nigerian Army To Reduce The Presence Of Its Officers In Aba And Umuahia.

Following the recent face off between some soldiers and IPOB members in Aba and Umuahia on Tuesday, September 12th, the Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has appealed to the Nigerian Army to reduce the presence of its officers in those parts of the state.

On Tuesday, some military officers had a clash with IPOB members when they tried to access a road close to the leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu’s home in Umuahia.

IPOB members who were on their way from Aba to Umuahia to protect their leader had a faceoff with the soldiers, leading to the death of 7 of their members.

Governor Okezie last night, had a meeting with Traditional rulers and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) commanding the 82 Division of the Nigeria Army Enugu, Major General A.B. Abubakar, at Government House Umuahia.

Despite The Recovery In Economy, Naira Falls Against Dollar.

The greenback has continued to suffer at the parallel market despite the regular interventions of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Naira against the Dollar at parallel market dropped to N367 as speculation over Dollar currency scarcity hits market according to the Leadership.
The naira traded at N366 against the Dollar and N367 in some parts of the country as against N365/N364 which it exchanged early in the week.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Tuesday intervened in the foreign exchange market on Tuesday, injecting $250 million. The naira thus exchanged for N476 against the pound from N472 the previous day and exchanged for N436 to the Euro as against N432 on Monday.

On the Investors & Exporters Foreign Exchange Window (IEFX), the Naira closed trading at N360.00 from N359.16 it opened for trading while daily turnover increased to $110.25 million.

President Mugabe Has Expressed Disappointment Over An Entertainer Who Refuse To Wear Panties.

Elderly African leader, Mr Mugabe has reportedly expressed his disapproval of a South African celebrity who refuses to wear panties.

South African entertainer, Zodwa Wabantu who is known for not wearing panties recently made news when she said that she would like to meet Zimbabwe’s 93 year old president, Robert Mugabe.

Zodwa said before she made the trip to Zimbabwe some fans warned her to “behave” because that country’s president is a strict man.

“They were telling me that Mugabe does not allow nonsense. And as a result I would not be allowed into Zimbabwe because I am too sexy.Some feel I will be half Unclad and that he (Mugabe) knows that I don’t wear panties,” she told local journalists.

“I would love to meet Mugabe if given a chance,” she said. “I don’t live a fake life. This is me: I am not expensive. I am a “kasi” person. I love you all. God gave me this body and I am using it,” she said to cheer.
