Before making a social media post make these vital considerations.

Social media gives opportunity to bridge gaps and birth relationships all over the world. It allows us the ability to see inside lives of those we know and don’t know.  However, for as many beautiful opportunities it provides, it also has the capacity to enable pain. The worst part: it forbids forgetfulness. The power your words will carry.

I believe there are three basic Godly foundations to consider to encourage responsible management of our social media accounts.

1. We Must Consider: Does What We’re Posting about Have Eternal Value?
Before spouting opinions, we must consider if the subject matter has eternal value. And, we must remember that everyone weighing in, regardless of whether their opinion differs from ours or not, does have eternal value.

Subject matters I consider to carry eternal value are life and death situations: people struggling both physically and mentally, and people who are aching to hear truth through the Word of God, not man’s opinions.

Very unprofessional road safety officer drags the steering with a driver.

Image
A female operative of Federal Road Safety Commission was captured on camera on Monday in Akwa Ibom state where she allegedly dragged the steering with a driver in a moving vehicle along Grace Bill Road in Eket. An eyewitness shared the pics and story...

"I am of the opinion that if the said vehicle has any issue, since according to the owner that you guys have been seeing the vehicle on daily basis since it is used for security purposes at Qua Iboe Terminal, the best was to take down the plate number and get them the following day rather than dragging steering of a vehicle on speed.  "This is what took the life of a young lady few months back along Ibesikpo Road and I never expected this from a trained institution like the FRSC of Nigeria. If not for the intervention of the Transition Chairman of Eket, Mrs Abigail Edohoeket, nobody know what would have happened."
