Pope Francis was gifted a brand new, luxury Lamborghini Wednesday at the Vatican — but the $200,000 Huracán will be auctioned off by Sotheby’s for charity.



The pope, who blessed the flashy car, has chosen three charities that will benefit from the auction, including one geared towards the restoration of Christian communities in Iraq that were destroyed by the Islamic State terror group.

Lamborghini execs presented the pontiff with the sports car, which comes with papal yellow-gold detailing– and a top speed of about 201 mph.

A pastor reportedly healed a mentally challenged man and an insane woman in Ibadan, Oyo state. The pastor first spotted the mentally unstable man, and reportedly healed him after prayers. The man's hair was shaved as new clothes were provided for him after the deliverance.

The pastor who also met a mentally unstable woman, is said to have healed the woman after praying for her too, and she was taken to a hospital for care after her deliverance. More photos...

Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, says he wished that President Buhari called him this morning as a birthday present. Fayose who turns 57 years old today, revealed this at his thanksgiving service held in the state government house today.
“My wishes on my 57th birthday as Ayo Fayose are many but one of them which will interest you is that I wish ‎President Buhari’s congratulatory call would have woken me up today as one of the governors in the country and as a leading ‎opposition figure in the country: a fearless young man who believes that things should be done rightly. I expect the president to show himself as a father of all, preaching that we must extend love to everybody, not only those in his political party. The president would have made a difference if he had extended such gesture to others beyond his political party. More details have emerged on the case of a Nigerian man who died after he was was robbed and beaten by a mob in South Africa.
