Chile Eboe-Osuji, Nigerian judge elected new president of ICC.

“The judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC), sitting in a plenary session, elected Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji (Nigeria) as President of the Court for a three-year term with immediate effect.
Judge Robert Fremr(Czech Republic) was elected First Vice-President and Judge Marc Perrin de Brichambaut (France) Second Vice-President.”

Islamic cleric criticises wedding of Ganduje's daughter to Ajimobi's son.

The cleric said the bride and groom "did not conduct themselves with decorum and respect" and blamed their parents for not guiding them do the right thing.

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has said that he has not been informed of the president visit.

Governor  Wike who maintained that there is no security situation in the state to warrant the president’s visit on that guise, however said the president is welcomed to the state especially to complete some projects.

Wike also said the president could be visiting to see if he could revive his All Progressive Congress, APC, party which he said is dead in the state.

Governor Wike however said that no matter what the president does to his party in Rivers, that except Jesus Christ intervenes, that the party will never come back to life again in the state.

The Governor gave the statement on Thursday while Flagging off the reconstruction of Egbelu Street and construction of link roads in East-West in Rumuodara, Obio Akpor Local Government Area.

Court has granted AGF, IGP to arrest and prosecute Senator Andy Ubah over alleged forgery.

The Abuja division of the Federal a High Court has granted a mandamus application seeking to compel the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to arrest and prosecute Senator Andy Ubah over allegation of certificate forgery.

An Order of mandamus is an application asking the court to compel certain officials to act on important issues within their jurisdiction.

Justice Binta Nyako granted the ex-parte application before the court filed by a civil‎ society organisation, Anti-Corruption and integrity Forum, through their lawyer, Amobi Nzelu.

The Anti-Corruption and integrity Forum in suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/175/2018 is praying the court to commence criminal proceedings against Senator Ubah for the offence of certificate  forgery.

IPPIS Reduces Police Salary By 15%.

Its has been a serious uproar among the ranks and file, officers and civilian staff working with d Nigeria police force as February salary has been grossly debited with huge deduction by IPPIS in d name of Fed govt new tax policy.

Yes huge disaster because of the fact that people are already complaining that salaries are no longer enough in dis (Buhari) regime and require upward review, but all they could get is huge deduction is this fare APC.

Imagine deductions as high as 10k, 20k & even greater than 30k, how can we survive this?
