Thomas Gwom, Who Helped Recaptures Ifeanyi Dike Rewarded With N1Million.


Thomas Gwom,The man who gave information that led to the rearrest of suspected ritualist Ifeanyi Dike has received the N1m pledged by the Commissioner of police.

Ifeanyi Dike had allegedly r*ped, killed and removed vital organs of an eight-year-old girl, Victory Chikamso, before escaping from police custody with the help of Policemen who have been dismissed from service and are facing trial.

Human blood is still flowing in Rivers State with impunity. A pregnant teenager and a pastor were among four persons reportedly killed by suspected cult members in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State on Wednesday.

The pregnant teenager, identified as Ada Amah, and another female, Mini Elizabeth, both from Rumuoro village, in Ogbakiri, were allegedly kidnapped by the gunmen before they were killed in the bush.

The Punch gathered that while the cleric, Pastor Joseph Iheme, was shot dead by the assailants beside a river where he had gone to fish, one Kingsley Owhonda, who was also at the river to fish, was kidnapped and later killed in a bush with a machete.

A source said the late pastor’s son, Godknows Iheme, who was around the area where his father was murdered, escaped unhurt.

The pregnant teenager was alleged to have been hacked to death, while her unborn baby was brought out from her womb and taken away for alleged ritual purposes.

PSC APPROVES SPECIAL PROMOTION OF 45 POLICE OFFICERS FOR GALANTRY IN THE ARREST OF WANTED KIDNAPPER, ËVANS”AND HIS GANG

The Police Service Commission has approved special promotion of forty five police officers and acting appointments for another 13 officers who played major roles in the arrest of Chukwudumuje Onuoamadike, aka Evans, a notorious kidnapper and 21 Members of his gang.

The Commission took the decision today, Thursday, April 19th, 2018, at its 27th Plenary Meeting which began in Abuja on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 and presided over by the Chairman of the Commission, Sir Dr. Mike Mbama Okiro, a retired Inspector General of Police.

The promotion and acting appointments were based on the superlative performance of the officers in the arrest of the deadly gang who terrorized Nigerians. The officers are of the Intelligence Response Team, (IRT), Special Tactical Squad (STS) and Technical Intelligence Unit under the direct supervision and coordination of the IGP Monitoring Unit at the Force Headquarters Abuja.

The founder and General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, has berated the President of Nigeria, President Buhariover the incessant killings of innocent Nigerians across the country.
