In many marriages today, one of the key issues is communication. And stereotypically speaking, it is often the husband that is credited with the communication problem.

But men are not the only ones with communication problems. There are numerous things wives need from their husbands, but they don’t know how to articulate them, or they hesitate to ask because of the tension they feel the question will bring.

More than 200 women were recently asked: What is something you need from your husband, but you don’t know how to ask him for it? Here are the top responses...

1. Verbal Affirmation
A woman may know that she's the most loved woman in her husband’s life, but it matters for her to hear it. “I still need to know that he likes the way I look, and that I am still treasured,” said one woman surveyed.

Women can sense when their husbands do something to express their appreciation. But for many of these women surveyed, words take the cake. One woman put it this way: “I think a lot of me…

Would you give milk to a famished child?
Milk is very essential to life growth and development. Everyone needs milk. Much as it is important, there are children who do not even get the cheapest yet most valuable type of milk which is the breast milk. Several reasons can be given for this. As a result, their physical growth is affected, mental development is retarded. Lament 4:4 says “The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them” (KJV). Do you know there are some children who do not have access to Daily milk? It is not because they are in remote places or out of communication coverage. The only reason is that they cannot afford it. Would you be used of God to give such children the “Milk” needed for spiritual growth? A copy of Daily milk (now in full color) is N350 The 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000 or more copies you pay for will be distributed free to such children. This way, you would have h…

UK PM Theresa May fails to secure majority in Parliament, pressured to resign

British media are reporting that even though British Prime Minister, Theresa May won the election, the conservative party failed to secure majority in Parliament.

Sky News reported early Friday that Labour held the seat of Southampton Test, guaranteeing that no party will reach the 326 seats necessary for an overall majority in the 650-seat Parliament. She made a terrible calculation by asking for an early election, hoping she would gain more seats for her party.
The result will create pressure on Prime Minister Theresa May to resign, after she called a snap election in the hope of increasing the Conservative majority in Parliament to strengthen her position in Brexit negotiations. This backfired on her.

If confirmed, the result would lead to a period of political uncertainty and could throw Britain's negotiations to leave the European Union — due to start June 19 — into disarray.
The pound lost more than 2 cents against the dollar within seconds of the announcement but it is coming …

5 Ways To Defeat Procrastination

Procrastination is the action or habit of delaying or postponing something. We are all guilty of this. Quite a number of things may result in the reluctance to perform a task. One of which is a lack of motivation.

Regardless, you should know that whether you postpone it or not, no one will do your job for you. This is a reason why you should not procrastinate. Jumia Travel shares ways you can defeat procrastination.

Do one thing at a time
Large tasks usually appear inundating. You should break down the task into smaller and more manageable pieces. Doing this will make it easier for you to start and conclude your responsibilities.

It does not have to be perfect

You should know that nothing is perfect. With this at the back of your mind, you should simply focus on giving your best and when you are sure you have done so, you can send it to your boss or manager. However, if you wait for it to be perfect, you may never want to do it because your mind will be focused on it being 100%.

5 Wrong Mindsets That Can Hurt Someone Later

The human mind is powerful. What you think sets the boundary of how far you can go in any sphere of life. It is impossible to outdo your mind.
An understanding of this fact is what prompted Henry Ford to say, “If you think you can do it or you think you can’t do it, you are right.” This further buttresses the fact that your mind plays a vital role in how successful you can be.

However, there are some dangerous mindsets that you should do away with. The reason is that these mindsets can cage you and prevent you from becoming all you have set out to become. The results of such mindsets may not be apparent now, but they will be in future. Your mindset can either make you or mar you. Here are five mindsets that you should discard, especially if you have an interest in business.

1. Somebody-owes-me-help mentality: Some people believe that it is the responsibility of others to help them. Due to this mindset, they cease to take control of their lives and wait for the assistance. The problem is…
