Mother of one and talented singer, Waje Iruobe has revealed her eagerness to meet with her Maker in heaven after finding peace with him.

Waje says she is looking forward to getting called to glory by the Lord after all the peace she has witnessed in His embrace.
This was shared via Snapchat in a cryptic message which has raised the eyebrows of her fans on social media. It appears the single woman might be going through hard times without going public.

She took to social media and wrote;
“I trust in you, thank you for taking away bitterness and anger and regret and replacing it with peace. I am truthfully looking forward to meeting you lord, strangely I am”

Nigerian actress, Stella Damasus gushed over her husband, Daniel Ademinokan, who wrote a romantic note to her on Instagram.

He had stated how much he missed the actress, while hinting that he suffered mental abuse from his ex-wife, Doris Simeon.

A Kenyan Police Officer Shot a Fan During Wizkid’s Mega Concert.

A Kenyan police officer accused of shooting a woman during a concert at Kenyatta International Convention Centre has been disarmed, SDE reports.

His gun has also been taken for ballistic tests as police launched investigations into the Sunday morning incident.

The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) also wants witnesses to the incident to provide information for them to take action.

“IPOA calls upon witnesses to an alleged shooting incident where a police officer was caught on video walking away after shooting a lady,” read part of a tweet the authority posted.

The female fan was shot and injured during a concert staged by Nigerian musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known as Wizkid.

Ann Wairimu, 23, and a student at a local university was shot in the hand and left thigh. She was shot by a police officer on duty at the event.

She was admitted to hospital after the shooting incident that happened outside KICC on Sunday dawn. The musician was performing at the venue.

A New Vaginal Ring To Prevent HIV Has Proved Successful!

Researchers in the United States confirm that a trial in which American teenagers used a vaginal ring to prevent HIV infection has proved successful.

Noow, a further study will be run with teenagers in Africa. The girls used a flexible plastic ring, embedded with anti-retroviral drugs, which was changed every month over a six-month period.

The research Is part of a drive to develop a device which women can use to protect themselves from HIV infection, so they don’t have to rely on men to wear condoms.

Reporting the development at a conference about HIV science in Paris, the researchers said they were encouraged that the girls used the ring and said they liked it.

The spiritual leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has cautioned Nnamdi Kanu and all those behind the agitation for Biafra nation to desist from it as such will never happen.

According to DailyPost, the spiritual leader said this while addressing a congregation of adherents and guests at the Church headquarters in Calabar, Cross River State capital, Sunday, the Clergyman disclosed that the agitators were after their own pockets.

An Outbreak Of Cholera In Three Local Government Areas Of Lagos.

At least two persons have been confirmed dead, while 25 other residents of Lagos State are receiving treatment in hospitals following an outbreak of cholera in three local government areas of the state

The Lagos State Government at a press conference in Alausa on Tuesdaysaid the cases came like the typical diarrhoea and vomiting associated with cholera.

It added that the outbreak was due to the heavy rainfall being experienced and the aftermath of flooding in the state.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr Jide Idris, who was joined at the briefing by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde, stated that the outbreak had been traced to the Somolu, Oshodi-Isolo, and Surulere local government areas.

He said, “Twenty-seven cases have been listed by our epidemiology/disease surveillance officers as of today, July 25, 2017. Two deaths were recorded from the 27 cases.”

Three Women Arrested For Allegedly Detained And Raped A Pastor.

Three women have been arrested after they allegedly detained and “r*ped” a pastor who had come to demand money he was owed by one of them.

The man, whose name has been withheld for ethical reasons, is a pastor at a local church and is said to be from Cowdray Park suburb in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Sandra Ncube (21), Riamuhetsi Mlauzi (23) and Mongiwe Mpofu (25) who reside at the same house in Cowdray Park suburb, appeared before Western Commonage magistrate Mr Lungile Ncube charged with aggravated indecent assault.

They were remanded in custody to August 7 for continuation of trial.

Prosecuting, Mr Petros Shoko said the complainant had gone to the women’s residence to demand money from Mlauzi sometime last week.

“On July 14, 2017, at around 7PM, the complainant went to the three accused persons’ residence to collect his money from Riamuhetsi Mlauzi, which she owed him,” said the prosecutor.
