As part of efforts to ensure lasting peace in Southern Kaduna, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has deployed an armed helicopter with force protection elements and other logistics support to Kafanchan.

The deployment, which is at the instance of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, would complement the efforts of the surface forces already on ground to keep peace in the area.
The personnel and other supporting staff will operate from a newly established NAF Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Kafanchan and will be reinforced with the NAF Special Forces to protect lives and property towards stopping the incessant clashes in the area.

The NAF also recently deployed air assets and personnel to Takum, Taraba State to maintain peace and provide air cover for the ground troops in the area.
It is equally worthy of note that the NAF has made appreciable contributions in different theatres of operations across the country and has also extended its reach.

James Rodriguez Breaks Up With Wife Over Issues With Russian Model

Real Madrid football star, Jame Rodriquez, who’s currently on loan at Bayern Munich has split from his wife of six years, amid claims of an affair with a Russian model.

It was confirmed by Football platform,  Marca that the Colombian midfielder who was voted the sexiest footballer in 2014, has parted with Daniela Ospina, sister of Arsenal goalkeeper David.

This comes amid reports in Colombia and Spain that Rodriguez has been involved in a love triangle with model Russian model Helga Lovekaty.

Marca report that an affair with Lovekaty is the reason for the end of the footballer’s marriage to the mother of his only child.
A statement from Ospina’s manager confirmed the pair, who have a daughter together, had made the decision amicably.

The message said: ‘Daniela Ospina and James Rodriguez, parents to Salome Rodriguez Ospina, are making official their separation after six and half years of marriage

“I always wanted Nicki my whole life …Says Meek Mill.

"I always wanted Nicki my whole life … Of course breaking up with anybody you love is a loss, period." — Meek Mill, on splitting from ex Nicki Minaj, on Philadelphia radio station Power 99
Seven months later and Meek Mill is still getting over his break up with Nicki Minaj.

“I always wanted Nicki my whole life … I bagged that,” Mill told Philadelphia radio station Power 99 on Thursday. “Of course breaking up with anybody you love is a loss, period.”

They went public with their relationship in March 2015 when Minaj, 34, posted a caption-less photo to Instagram of their hands holding. In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year, Minaj was hesitant to label her relationship with Mill, saying, “I don’t know, we’re still figuring each other out.”

Rumors of the hip-hop couple’s separation were confirmed in January when Minaj tweeted she was single and “focusing on my work.”

In the rest of his candid radio interview Thursday, Mill also called his feud with Drake a success.

Making Prayer A Habit

Prayer is hard work. It’s not something that comes naturally.

We go about our days, engaged in the home or workplace, distracted by good things that would keep us from prayer if we let them. Our hearts are prone to wander from God in self-reliance toward temporary pleasures, rather than running to him in dependence for the lasting joy and satisfaction only he can provide.

No relationship will flourish without intention — and this takes work!
Perhaps you feel your need for communion with God, and you want to grow in forming a habit of prayer, but you don’t know where to start…
Maybe prayer seems daunting, like a high mountain to climb; or perhaps the pace of your day doesn’t seem to allow for this time. Yet, the growth of any relationship won’t fall into our laps; we need to be intentional, trusting God will meet and help us in this time of sought communion.

So here’s a start! The following are five keys to help you form a habit of prayer:

1. Choose it.
Forming any habit requires acti…

Asari Dokubo Spits Fire In Defence Of Diezani.

Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo's reaction to claims that former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke allegedly stole $90 billion is epic!..

Dokubo described President Muhammadu Buhari, his handlers and members of his administration as liars.
Dokubo also attacked Nigerian music acts Don Jazzy and Davido for condemning Alison-Madueke without any shred of evidence to support their claims.

He noted that if Alison-Madueke actually looted $90 billion at the current exchange rate and had returned it back to the national treasury, there was no need for the federal government to go abroad seeking loans to finance infrastructure development across the nation.

He accused President Buhari of embezzling no less that N30 billion from the oil sector during his time as Petroleum Minister and Chairman of Petroleum ‎Trust Fund (PTF) under the late General Sani Abacha administration.

“Those without character are accusing others of lacking character. If Diezani really stole what she is a…

Everybody’s Got Something: Encouragement.

“Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.”
 > Proverbs 19:11 (ESV)
My intense irritation at my husband’s actions didn’t show visibly. Since his mother was in the backseat of our car, I was careful to remain calm. However, I did sneak a darting glance toward him — a dagger that accurately conveyed how very much I hated what he’d just done.

His dire offense?

Failure to use his blinker when changing lanes.

I am a by-the-books driver. My kids chuckle when I dutifully use my blinker before turning into our driveway, even when no one is around — which is nearly 99 percent of the time, since we live near the end of a road with a cul-de-sac. Therefore, it aggravates me when my dear husband sometimes behaves as if turn signal usage is completely optional.

This particular day, we were shuttling my mother-in-law to her doctor’s appointment. As I sat in the waiting room, my mind began to tally, one-by-one, other perfectly irksome things I didn’t like about my …
