The piece credited to Dame Aleruchi Cookey-Gam in which she condemned the response of Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu, the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, for his response to misconceptions on the Rivers State Governor's action on Novotel, beyond words, shockingly portrays the celebrated Rivers daughter and legal luminary as biased, partisan and divisive.  Her bias clearly questions her very standing in society; and it is of grave disappointment that rather than being at the fore of those actively building cohesion and promoting peace in the State, a daughter who has been so graciously endowed by the State is aggravating hostilities within it.
The pivot of her response was not about the security threats posed by the consistent use of Novotel as the grand chamber and demonic coven of electoral fraud in Rivers State by her own Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), which if unchecked is capable of resulting to the breakdown of law and order in the State…

We Are Never Divided By Ethnicity, Religion When Stealing Money - Osinbajo

According to the Acting President, claims of marginalization are principally driven by selfish interests, which have given rise to false narratives.

The Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has stated that Nigerian leaders are never divided by ethnicity or religion when it comes to stealing the country’s resources.  Professor Osinbajo said this on Wednesday, in Abuja, at a seminar organized by the Institute for Security Studies. The seminar, which had “Unity in Diversity” as its theme, addressed the raging claims of marginalization by certain sections of the country.

According to the Acting President, claims of marginalization are principally driven by selfish interests, which have given rise to false narratives. One of such false narratives, he said, is that a single ethnic or religious group bears greater responsibility for the country’s challenges or that one is superior to the other. In challenging the version of events, the Acting President said his experience is that Niger…

How To Keep The Lady You Are Dating.

Do you love your girl and you don't want another man to snatch her from you? Then do the following things:

1. Give her plenty of attention. If you give her attention, she will not seek for attention elsewhere. Chat with her online via social media or else another man will.

2. Give her listening ears whenever she is speaking to you. Avoid pressing your phone or reading a newspaper when your girl is talking to you.

3. Do not promise her and fail. Do not promise her what you cannot do. It is better for you to say you don't have than to promise and fail.

4. Do not be stingy. Avoid telling her that you don't have, you don't have all the time.

5. Be caring. To be caring does not only mean you should be giving her money. There are many ways of showing care; e.g show concern whenever she is sad or in problems; be by her side when she is in problems, do not abandon her in her days of sorrow.

6. Tell her daily that she is beautiful.

7. Tell her daily that you love her.

8. Play with her …

Humans of Lagos

“My childhood dream of becoming an accountant was truncated even before I could really conceive it, but I did not give up on life and continued hustling.

I came to Lagos from Ibadan about nine years ago, and I took to puff-puff business almost immediately. I learnt under my boss and I am now independent. I have been able to get married, build my house and buy a car with this business.

The challenges in this business have been numerous, but I have never thought of quitting for once because I have had a firm belief that things will surely work well.

On the average, the boys (about five of them) earn about N1,000 daily and they seem happy with what they are doing.
In the nearest future, I would love to focus more on this business because I believe it is lucrative and can sustain me and my family the way it has been.

My name is Yusuf Adedeji and this is my story!”
