Reno Omokri- “Premarital sex reduces a woman’s chances of getting married”.

Reno Omokri, author and  spokesman of former president, Goodluck Jonathan, in his usual tradition of dishing relationship advice,  shared his views on pre-marital sex and the consequences.

He tweeted:  “The problem with pre-marital sex is even if it leads to marriage, you have already set a precedent that sex out marriage is okay”
Speaking to women,  he continued:“Every time you allow a man sleep with you before marriage you dramatically reduces the chance of a man getting married to you”.

Oscar winning actress, Lupita Nyongo’s father, Prof. Anyanga Nyongo, has won the governorship election for Kisumu County in Kenya. He defeated his rivals, Jackton Ramguma and Christine Otieno to win. At 83% of the polling stations reporting he got 252, 490 which is 63% while Jackton Ramguma got 141, 320 which represents 36% and Christine Otieno got 1919 representing less than 1% of total votes cast.

He ran under the National Super Alliance coalition. Kisumu is NASA stronghold where the party easily defeated the president’ s Jubilee party.

With 37, 318 polling stations out of 40883 of the polling stations reporting, President Uhuru Kenyatta is leading his rival, Raila Odinga by 10.1% of the votes cast. At 7, 546, 262 that is 54.57% while Raila Odinga is at 6, 164, 403 at 44.58% of the votes.
The turnout at this point is 72.76% of registered voters.

Lagos Commissioner Says "Men Should Stop Sucking Their Wives Breast.

Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Steve Ayorinde, has advised fathers to allow their babies enjoy the period of breastfeeding.

He said this in a message to a Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign organised by the Lagos chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) .

The commissioner, represented by Mrs Toro Oladapo, a former NAWOJ President and Director, Public Affairs, Lagos Ministry of Information, said fathers should stop competing for br**sts with their babies.

He stated that rather, men should encourage the ir wives to engage in exclusive breastfeeding which is vital during the first six months of life.

“Nothing is natural like chest milk,” he said, noting that human milk is better for babies than animal milk.

“Thank you so much for promoting the essence of womanhood​.​

“The media should help ensure mothers are breastfeeding to raise a healthy nation.

“You will all agree with me that children that are breastfed distinguish themselves academically,’’ he said.

Resume Or Resign- Actor Jim Iyke Joins The Campaign.

Nigerian actor Jim Iyke and Bring Back Our Girls convener, Aisha Yesufu have thrown their weight behind the #ResumeOrResign and #ourMumuDondo movements led by Charly boy.

They are calling for the president of Nigeria Mohammadu Buhari to either resume his duties as president of Nigeria or resign from office.

It can be recall that Charly boy had led a protest demanding that the president resign or resume office a couple of days back.
Jim Iyke, was pictured with other protesters making their stand on the very vital national issue.

This will be the third day the #ResumeorResign protesters have gathered.

Yesterday, the police tried to discourage the protesters by firing water cannons and tear gas cannisters, but the protesters remained adamant.

President Muhammad Buhari left the country in May, to seek medical attention in the United Kingdom.

Underground Ritualist Den Uncovered In Lagos

Bad folks always devising evil. An underground ritualist den was uncovered at Obadeyi bus-stop in Ijaiye area of Lagos-Abeokuta road, by those who came to the aid of a sweeper who was heard screaming for help after she was abducted.

Nigerian Soldier writes Open Letter- "Give Us Some Respect".

A Nigerian soldier identified as Ojikutu Ridwanullahi, has taken to his Facebook page and urged fellow Nigerians to have respect for soldiers and stop seeing them as the enemies.

The young soldier who relayed his message on social media, said that the risks the soldiers take for Nigeria should be greeted with respect and not condemnation.

    Dear civilians of Nigeria this post is meant to change ur thinking towards us. Looking at other countries, people give respect to their soldiers and these soldiers are not working as hard as we. Nigerian Soldiers are not ur enemies, the enemies are Boko Haram and Militant.

    We are facing dem for u while u run away from dem. Take for instance, if there is an attack u cannot go there but to run off the place to avoid death but we with just one life like u will run to it and make it stop. We can die as well because we have blood in our veins.
