President Buhari Arrives Nigeria

After 103 days in London for medicals, President Muhammadu Buhari finally returned to the country on Saturday to the warm embrace of government officials, presidential aides and politicians.

University Student caughtv With Dead Body Of A Girl He Killed.

A Nigerian student who allegedly killed a 7-year-old girl for ritual purposes has been apprehended by by security operatives in Rivers state.

The young man, a 200-level student of the the Faculty of Science, University of Port Harcout, who has been identified as Ifeanyi Dike, was arrested for killing the girl named Victory Chikamso.

It was gathered that the Imo State indigene invited Chikamso into his room, killed her and collected the part he needed, while the girl's parents were looking for her.

Luck, however, ran out on him, when he was going to throw her corpse away.

Sanitation officers at the refuse dump he went to, confronted him and searched him only to discover a dead body butchered. They raise alarm and behold it was that of missing Chikamso.

He has since been handed over to the policemen from Okporo police station.

Saraki Welcomes Buhari Yesterday.

President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari back to Nigeria.

Saraki, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, thanked God for the safe return and recovery of the President, and reaffirmed the commitment of the National Assembly to continue working alongside the President in achieving objectives aimed at improving the standard of living of Nigerians and overall development of the country.

“I thank Almighty Allah for bringing President Muhammadu Buhari back whole, hale and hearty. I am thoroughly delighted that President Buhari has returned home after his medical vacation", the Senate President said, “I was privileged to have met him twice in London during the period of the vacation. After our first meeting, I told Nigerians there was no cause for alarm. After our recent lengthy meeting on Thursday this week, I informed Nigerians that Mr. President's return home was imminent.
