Ben Bruce Declared That Most Senators Children Are On Hard Drugs.

There were a lot of talks at the Senate yesterday about the trending craze among young people in Nigeria, who take all kinds of hard drugs to get high and feel high, for whatever purpose(s).

Well, the Common Sense Senator, Ben Bruce, took to social media to advise his fellow senators to look into the lifestyle of their children, declaring that MOST senators' children are on hard drugs.

As if that wasn't bad enough, popular musician KWAM 1's son called out his girlfriend on social media for trying to force him into using hard drugs with her.

Davido's Boys Who Dumped Tagbo At The Hospital Arrested.

Like we said earlier, the twist in the controversial death of Davido's friend and Caroline Danjuma's lover, the late Tagbo Umeike, is moving very fast.

First, Lagos police command has recovered one of Davido's vehicle (escort vehicle) that was caught by the hospital CCTV when some of his boy allegedly dropped Tagbo at the hospital and left.

The commissioner of police has ordered the arrest and detention of two of Davido's men who followed him to the CP's office as investigation has revealed their roles in the saga.

Those arrested and detained on the orders of the CP are said to be same guys captured by the CCTV who dropped the late Tagbo at the hospital and left.

It has been established by autopsy that he didn't die from too much alcohol but from suffocation.

The arrested guy have been detained at the Police Lion Building in Lagos Island. Case developing.

"Tagbo Died From Suffocation"- Davido Lied To Police.

This matter is developing twist. Tagbo Umeike, a friend of singer Davido and lover of Nollywood  actress Caroline Danjuma, died from suffocation, the Lagos state police command has said.

Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, made this known at a briefing in Lagos today.

Consequently, CP Imohimi said Davido has been re-invited for questioning.

The police boss said the singer did not give an accurate response when asked of the time he became aware of Tagbo’s death.

The Commissioner of Police said Davido lied that he found out about his friend’s death while he was at DNA, a nightclub in Victoria Island.

CP Edgal said Tagbo was abandoned in his car at the hospital by Davido’s driver and two of his friends.

He said: “On October 3, at about 9:20am, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of General Hospital Lagos, Oparanti Moshood, alerted the DPO Lion Building that an unidentified male was brought in dead (BID) in an Ash Toyota Camry Saloon car marked LSD378EL by two unidentified males.

Atiku’s Company's Contract With NPA Has Been Terminated By FG.

The federal government of Nigerian has directed the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) to terminate the boats pilotage monitoring and supervision agreement that the agency has with Intels Nigeria Limited, a company co-owned by former vice president Atiku Abubakar.

Government says the contract with Intels, a leading integrated logistics and facilities services provider in the maritime and oil and gas logistics sectors of the country, was void ab initio.

Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mallam Abubakar Malami (SAN), in a letter dated September 27, 2017 to the Managing Director of the NPA, Ms. Hadiza Bala-Usman, said that the agreement, which has allowed Intels to receive revenue on behalf of NPA for 17 years, violates the Nigerian Constitution, in view of the Treasury Single Account (TSA).

Intels, also co-owned by Mr. Gabriel Volpi, an Italian national who also has Nigerian citizenship, will lose several millions of dollars in the cancelled deal.

Parents Withdraw Children From School Over Military Exercise In Anambra State.

There was pandemonium in Anambra State today as some parents hurriedly withdraw children from some schools in Nnewi area and environs. There was rumour in town that soldiers were invading schools in the city and forcibly vaccinating children.

The government has cleared the air. The rumour is false, there's no need for any panic whatsoever.

"Rivers Assembly Members Are Part Of Our Gang"- Notorious Robber.

In what will come across as a really shocking development, a lawmaker in Rivers State has been indicted as a member of a notorious armed robbery gang operating in the state.

Justice Oti, aka High Tension, a suspected deadly kidnapper, robber and murderer, has alleged that one of the members of Rivers State House of Assembly is a member of his gang.

According to The Nation, Justice Oti, an indigene of Odisama in Ahoada East, born on March 7, 1993, also confessed being a member of Icelander cult, saying he killed 15 members of a rival cult.

He said on Tuesday in Port Harcourt that he killed the people because members of Greenlander killed over 15 Icelander members.

Oti, who earlier embraced the amnesty offer of the Governor Nyesom Wike administration, said he did not surrender all his arms and ammunition, adding that Greenlander members never submitted their guns, but only deceived members of the amnesty committee by surrendering sticks.

Teachers Fail Primary 4 Examination In Kaduna State.

A primary four test was administered to test the competence of teachers in Kaduna State of which about 21,780 out of 33,000 teachers failed.

The state is therefore ready to employ 25,000 new teachers as one of the plans to restore dignity and quality to education.

Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State unveiled the planned recruitment when he received a World Bank’s delegation in Kaduna on Monday.

“We tested our 33,000 primary school teachers, we gave them primary four examination and required they must get at least 75 per cent but I am sad to announce that 66 per cent of them failed to get the requirements.

“The hiring of teachers in the past was politicized and we intend to change that by bringing in young and qualified primary school teachers to restore the dignity of education in the state,” the governor said.

He stressed that teachers would be redeployed across the state to balance the issue of teacher-pupil ratio.

“We have a challenge with the teacher-pupil ratio in the urban schools…
